This is an almost finished piece for my Interactive Media class. Hopefully the navigation is understandable.
This is my interpretation of navigating the Detroit Institute of Art. There is a main Promenade, represented by the spine. The body built outward from it, with all of it's works within it. You have to push things out of the way to get to see certain parts, much like the DIA. Stone marble was selected for the bones to draw from the actual architecture of the DIA, while the organs are raw meat to suggest intricacy, raw material and organic substance. Zoom function, revert to 100% function and navigated with arrow keys. Images snagged from Flickr.com, my bad. If you have a small screen resolution, DOWNLOAD, and it will be resized to something more suitable for viewing (hopefully). (Resubmitted) |
